Ken Watanabe has signed up to Gareth Edward’s Godzilla
Hopefully this fine actor will be playing a role a bit meatier than “token scared Japanese “GOJIRA!!” man”.
His casting also marks the start of filming! Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, Bryan Cranston and David Strathairn join him in Vancouver as filming gets underway. Hopefully set photos of crumbled streets will be emerging shortly.
